Because 45,000 pool owners, in NSW, tried to register on the last day, the whole thing has been extended. Just relax and do it now. About 200,000 have registered so far! Your local council has records of all the pools that were submitted, the problem is all the pools installed without council authority or have been modified, or splasher pools sold by retail shops, the government needs to know about ALL the pools! If something bad happens in or around an unapproved pool the person or persons responsible could suffer loss of personal liberty and financial loss. What if something bad happens to your own family? I don't know about you, but for me it would be untenable. Remember to do the "5" and keep the kids safe.
Finally legislation now requires inspection/certificate when a property is sold or lease created. Anything over 300mm must be legally fenced, spas too
